Recent changes to your bill - Victorian customers

On 1 July 2019, new regulatory requirements were introduced in Victoria. Some of the changes affect how your bill looks and how you can compare energy plans.

We’ll regularly check our generally available plans against your past energy usage to see if you’re on one of our low-cost plans.

We’ll let you know if you could save on another plan and how much you may save by switching. If you’re already on one of our low-cost plans, we’ll let you know that too.

Previously, our bills showed some dollar amounts exclusive of GST, with GST then added as a separate line item. All amounts shown on Victorian bills will now include GST, where it applies. There’s no change to what you pay, your bill just looks a little different to before.
